I moved from Minneapolis to LA in the late '80's and enjoyed a love-hate relationship with the entertainment industry: worked as a stunt performer regularly for adrenaline and money; acting, directing and producing were lovely and difficult 2 book hobbies. Was injured in 2002, ironically not at work but camping. Twenty procedures later, I moved to Portland in 2006 to be near family and wrote gimp, surviving your survival, published in '08. Concerned by the lack of burn support in Oregon I co-founded PBS, incorporating in '09. I found Foxy my little dog at the local pound and recommend a rescue dog if you're thinking of getting one. She’s an orange fluffy bundle of love. ~Alisa |
